Odisha Orphanage began in 2009, after a riot broke out in Kandhamal, Odisha in 2008. Many Christians were persecuted, homes were destroyed and Churches were burned by some miscreants. In the eve of Christmas celebration were miscreants opened fired and attacked on Christians in Kandhamal, Odisha were many lost their lives and many fled to the mountains and jungles to hid themselves.
